International Quality Syringes - Made in India
|
FOR over a
century and more Indians have been labouring under the myth
that goods manufactured anywhere outside our country are always of
better quality. A number of companies and organisations have proved this irrational myth false. So it is with Hindustan Syringes and Medical
Devices (HMD), India's leading manufacturers Of syringes and medical equipment.
HMD's Cathy has now launched superior quality I V Cannulas at competitive Prices. I V Cannulas are Intra
Vascular devices which are inserted into the patient's vein to allow passage of medicinal fluids. Cathy is a
technological breakthrough as it uses a new polymer 'Volex' instead of the existing polymer. The Volex polymer used in Cathy can be inserted in the vein easily without peelback (splitting of Catheter
during insertion) there by making reinsertion
possible without having to throw away the Cannula as in the case of I V
Cannulas with Teflon Catheter. Says Rajiv Nath, Joint MD, Hindusthan Syringes and Medical Devices,
"We expect Cathy to revolutionise the Catheterisation process by making it less painful and more cost-effective in the long
run." The minimal pain caused to the patient is because of' the penetration force required during cannulation which is 30 per cent less than Teflon-based
catheter. |
